chopped green onions or fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Heat a large skillet or pot over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
Stir in the ranch seasoning mix. Add the uncooked penne, beef broth, milk, and sweet corn. Stir everything together and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and cover. Simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the penne is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
Add the cream cheese and shredded cheddar. Stir until both cheeses are completely melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Taste and season with salt and black pepper as needed. Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley, if desired.
Notes
Drain excess grease from the browned beef before adding the pasta and liquids. Stir occasionally while the pasta simmers to prevent sticking and ensure the penne cooks evenly. Garnish with chopped green onions or fresh parsley if desired.
