Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper
  • mixing bowl
  • pastry brush
  • Rolling Pin

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 oz)
  • 0.75 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • marinara or pizza sauce for dipping

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Separate each biscuit and flatten each piece slightly using your hands or a rolling pin to form a small circle.
  • Place a bit of shredded mozzarella cheese and a few mini pepperoni slices in the center of each dough circle.
  • Carefully fold the dough edges up and around the filling to form a ball. Pinch the edges tightly to seal.
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush each dough ball with the seasoned butter mixture.
  • Place the pizza bombs on the prepared baking sheet with the sealed side down. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

Seal the dough tightly to prevent cheese from leaking while baking. Serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping. You can substitute turkey or halal pepperoni if preferred.
